[t] How do I use the Recent Activity reports under Class Analytics?

Follow

Q. How do I use the Recent Activity reports under Class Analytics?

A. The Recent Activity reports under Class Analytics show you which students have used which resources for each of the last 14 days.

There are two similar versions of the report - one under the Class Overview tab and one under the User Activity tab.

Under the Class Overview tab, each row in the Recent Activity report summarizes the number of hits and the number of minutes each user has spent on a particular resource on the date listed. By default, the table is sorted by Date, then by the user's Last Name. For each user, activity is sorted by Resource Type, then by Resource Name. This means that the order in which activity appears in the table isn't necessarily the order in which the user visited those resources.

If you like, you can change the way the table is sorted: simply mouse over any column and click the sort arrow to sort by that column. In most cases, however, the table will work best if left in its default configuration.

The Recent Activity report under the User Activity tab is similar, but with some redundant information, like the user's name, removed.
