How can we help?

[t] What numbers or letters should I use when entering grades in the Standards-Based Gradebook?

Q. What numbers or letters should I use when entering grades in the Standards-Based Gradebook?

A. What you actually enter in the Standards-Based Gradebook will depend on the Scale used for Standards-Based Grading in your gradebook. The Scale determines which score ranges correspond to which Colors and which Mastery Levels.

The default Scale uses the numbers 1 through 4, with 4 indicating the highest level of mastery. If you're using a Solo Teacher account, you can create new Scales by clicking on your avatar in the upper-right and going to My Settings > SBG Scales.

If you're using a School and District Edition account, your domain administrators can choose whether to allow you to create your own Scales. They can also can create or edit Scales for each Organization in your domain.

If you're not sure what to enter in the Standards-Based Gradebook, check with your domain administrators - you can contact your organization using the Help menu inside your Haiku Learning domain.
