Q. As a domain admin, I want to allow Parents into classes, but prevent them from seeing Student grades. How do I do that?
A. By default, Parents can view grades for classes in which their children are enrolled, if Parents have been allowed in the Roster. However, Domain Administrators can globally remove grades from the Parent view.
Controlling Parent Access to Grades
The ability for Parents to view grades within PowerSchool Learning is a domain-wide setting that can be adjusted through the Domain Control area. To make adjustments, select Settings from the Manage Domain drop-down menu, then navigate to the Classes tab. Under the Class Customization Options area, if you would like to prevent parents from viewing Grades, uncheck "Allow Parents to view their children's grades."
Hit Save and you should be all set! This setting will apply to all classes in your domain automatically.
