How can we help?

[t]What does the link icon in my roster mean?

Q: I see this chain-link icon in my Roster next to my students and at the top of my Roster Section. What does that icon mean?

A: A link icon means that this section, and the students in it that have the icon next to them, are linked to another roster. This means that when updates to the other roster are made, it will automatically update your roster, too. Here's what this might look like:

The most common use for linking rosters is when you are teaching multiple sections of a class, and your school imports each of those sections as a separate class. Instead of maintaining several different classes with virtually the same content, you can link all of those imported rosters to one source class containing your content.
