Q: How do I change a student's assigned Roster Section?
A: If your class is already setup to use Roster Sections you can easily change which Roster Section a student is assigned to from the Roster menu.* As long as all Sections have the same Assignments and Assessments your students work and grades will be transferred.
Note: This only applies to users manually added to sections. If your sections were imported by your school or district, they will have to be updated by your school or district.
Open your class roster and find the student you wish to reassign. Find the Manage menu to the right of the student's name and choose the Edit Student option.
In the Student Details window there is a Section drop down menu. Use this to select the correct Roster Section for this student and then click save.
Please note: Students can only belong to one Roster Section in your class at any given time.
