Q:  How do I create a zip file that I can upload to PowerSchool Learning for an import of a MiniSite?

A:  There are several tools within PowerSchool Learning that require you to upload a zip file containing multiple related files.  Once you have your file ready, such as your page or pages for a new MiniSite, you can zip them into a single archive file using the following instructions, based on your operating system.

Windows XP, Vista, or 7

  1. Highlight all of the files used by your MiniSite
  2. Right Click on the highlighted files
  3. Chose Send To
  4. Chose Compressed (zipped) Folder
  5. A new Zip File will be created which you can upload as a MicroSite.

Mac OS X

  1. Highlight all of the files used by your MiniSite
  2. Right Click on the highlighted files
  3. Chose Compress # Items
  4. A new Zip File will be created which you can upload as a MicroSite.
