How can we help?

[t]Can I annotate on the iPad?

Q: Can I annotate on the iPad?

A: Crocodoc is HTML5 compatible, which means you can view and annotate on the iPad in the web version of PowerSchool Learning (not the student app). However, at this point, you are limited to point comments only.

If you're interested in more advanced annotation options on an iPad, we recommend opening and annotating student submissions in another app, then returning them through PowerSchool Learning.

Please note: This feature is only available to School & District Edition accounts at this time.

To annotate a document on the iPad:

  1. Go to the Assignment area of the Activities tab and choose an Assignment with student submissions.
  2. Select any student
  3. Tap the file link on their submission to Annotate and Grade. The Annotator should automatically open if the file is compatible with our annotator tool (.doc, .docx, .ppt, .pptx, .pdf). Please note: only point comment annotations can be added via iPad at this time.
  4. Once in the annotator, select the Comment Bubble icon to, then tap on the document to create a Comment, and type in your feedback!
