Q: If I have a Student account, can I also teach a class in PowerSchool Learning? I do not see the New Class button or a My Classes area!
A. If your school or teacher is using a Solo Teacher Account * you should be able to upgrade your account to a Teacher account. This will allow you to create new classes of your own! If your school has a School & District Edition of PowerSchool Learning, please contact your domain administrator. They may choose to manually add you as a co-teacher to a class.
* Hint: Do you log into PowerSchool Learning at my.haikulearning.com? If so, then your teacher uses a Solo Teacher Account.
Upgrade to a Teacher account
As a Student, you can upgrade your account to a free Teacher account through the User Information area of your My Account menu (under your avatar), located in the upper right hand corner of your account.
- You should see an Upgrade to Teacher Account button in the upper right hand corner.
- Click on the button to walk through the upgrade process.
- Now that your account is upgraded, you should have a My Classes tab of your account, and the New Class button will now be available to you.
