How can we help?

[t] How do I know if I have a PowerSchool Learning account?

Follow

Q. I'm not sure if I already have a PowerSchool Learning account; how can I find out?

A. PowerSchool Learning accounts can be created by a class teacher, a school administrator, or by the account owner.

Students

If you aren't sure whether you have a PowerSchool Learning account, start by getting in touch with your teacher, as they may have created the account for you. Your teacher will be able to let you know whether or not your School or District is using a PowerSchool Learning Domain. If your School or District is using a Domain, your teacher can reach out to their admin team to help get you logged into PowerSchool Learning.

Teachers can review their Class Rosters to see if you already have an account. If your teacher has created an Open Invitation to enroll students in their PowerSchool Learning class, your teacher will need to provide you with an invitation code and invitation URL to create a new Student account.

Teachers

Teachers may have either a free Solo Teacher Account or a PowerSchool Learning Domain Account. You can identify which sort of account you have by looking at the URL address that you use to log into PowerSchool Learning.

  • https://mylearning.powerschool.com - You have a Solo Teacher Account.
  • https://school_name.learning.powerschool.com* - You have a PowerSchool Learning Domain Account

*Note: Not all PowerSchool Learning domains follow this naming methodology. The URL may have been customized by your School or District.

If you think that you might have a Solo Teacher Account, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to mylearning.powerschool.com
  2. Click on the Forgot my Password link
  3. Enter your Email Address

  4. Choose Submit
  5. If you have an account connected to that email address, you will receive an email from noreply@learning.powerschool.com. If you don't have a PowerSchool Learning account, you will see a message informing you that your email address wasn't recognized.

If your School or District has a PowerSchool Learning Domain, you'll want to reach out to your school's admin team to help you identify and log in to your account.

Parents

You'll want to get in touch with your child's teacher, as they may have created the account for you. Your teacher will be able to let you know whether or not your child's School or District is using a PowerSchool Learning Domain. If your child's School or District is using a Domain, your child's teacher can reach out to their admin team to help get you logged in to PowerSchool Learning.

If your teacher has created an Open Invitation to enroll in their PowerSchool Learning class, your teacher will need to provide you with an invitation code and invitation URL to create a new Parent account.

If you think that you might have a Parent Account that is NOT connected with a part of a School or District's PowerSchool Learning Domain, follow these steps:

  1. Navigate to mylearning.powerschool.com
  2. Click on the Forgot my Password link
  3. Enter your Email Address
  4. Choose Submit
  5. If you have an account connected to that email address, you will receive an email from noreply@learning.powerschool.com. If you do not have a PowerSchool Learning account, you will see a message informing you that your email address wasn't recognized.
